The Western Wall , 2003
The Western Wall is the last ruin survived from the Second Holy Temple. This unique painting was painted on "Tisha Be'av"- the 9th of Av- a mourning day in remembrance of our two fallen temples.
In the background the 'Dome of the Rock' does not appear.

The Cave of Machpelah , 2003

"And then Abraham buried his wife Sarah in the cave of the field of Machpelah… Thus the field with its cave passed from the Hittites to Abraham, as a burial site." (Genesis, 23, 19-20).
The Cave of Machpelah, which lays in Hebron until these days is a sacred place for our Jewish Heritage. In it are buried our great ancestors: Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rivka and
Jacob and Leah.

The Tomb of Rachel , 2003

"Thus Rachel died. She was buried on the road to Ephrath- now Bethlehem. And Jacob set up a pillar upon her grave; the same is the pillar of Rachel's grave unto this day." (Genesis, 35:19-20)

The Tomb of Rachel is a place of longing and prayer, for it symbolizes the life, roots and continuity of the Jewish People.

Montefiore's Windmill , 2003
Sir Moses Montefiore, the wealthy English baron, supported the Jewish settlements during the 19th century. Among his famous charities is the windmill he built in order to offer work for Jewish immigrants in struggle.
The Montefiore Windmill lays in Mishkenot Sha'ananaim in Jerusalem, a beautiful neighborhood that overlooks the Old City.
